In December of 2012 we received an email saying we were successful in our application to become house parents at Tiwi College. Where is Tiwi College? Well, yes it is still technically in part of Australia but it's not attached. It is located in the Tiwi Islands which is about a twenty minute small plane ride away from Darwin.

We have now come to call the Tiwi Islands home and are learning to embrace grade A remote living and all it entails. Here you will find posts on updates on our lives as house parents to twelve teenage Tiwi girls and the beauty of this Island.
